With mergers and collaborations on the rise, the company needed to quickly drive differentiation and signal the value being driven from these efforts. The opportunities assessed had both a forward and backward connectivity to wireless telecommunications technology. Over 100 companies evaluated with 15 companies acquired over 24 months.
Three (3) of the companies were consolidated as part of plans for driving significant enterprise valuation multiple in the financial services industry. These companies generate US$20m in annual revenue. The other acquired companies were integrated with the telecommunications business to provide services such Cable TV, Fibre to the Home (FTTH), Sports and Entertainment Content, ICT connectivity and Software as a Service (SaaS) products.
